"We salute you, Sir!"

Updated: Aug 19

Last Patrol volunteers in New Jersey honored Richard O'Donnell, an Army veteran, in hospice care.

Richard was born in New Brunswick, New Jersey, in 1957. His patriotism called him to serve his country and he enlisted in the Army in 1975. He served for three years as a Combat Engineer with the 82nd Airborne Division. Following his military service, he transitioned to a career in security. Richard is the father of one son, Nick. He's a proud American and patriot and put out his US flag every day.

Richard's friends in the 82nd Airborne Division, U.S. Army community reached out to us for assistance with a final recognition of his military service. Last Patrol is privileged to honor Richard and show America's gratitude and our respect for his service to our nation.
