Last Patrol honored Alan Sweney, an Army veteran in hospice care with @Pathway Hospice. We presented him patriotic gifts and a Congressional Letter from @Rep Ralph Duncan,
Alan served as an Army Digital Communications Specialist from 1973-1978 and was assigned to a unique unit in the Pentagon focused on secure long-range communications. His unit supported the Army and other special agencies worldwide during the Cold War. After the military, he went to work for @Duke Energy Company, serving as an IT manager and later as a Lead Nuclear IT consultant.
Alan is a devoted husband and loving father. He has 2 daughters. He loves trail rides and traveling and has traveled much of America by motor coach.
