“Our family is so grateful that you honored Joe.”

Last Patrol volunteers honored Joe Patterson, an Air Force veteran in hospice care with @Agape.

Joe grew up in Pennsylvania. He enlisted in the Air Force on Nov 1st, 1951 during the Korean War. He trained for Ground Radar Maintenance. He completed 24 months of duty and was stationed in Germany. Following military service, he went to become a scientist after studying Physics, and received a patent in 1967 for handprint recognition systems. Joe and his current wife, Jean, have a blended family of 6 children, 2 of which currently serve in the Navy.

We presented Joe several patriotic gifts and packets of Cards of Gratitude from Americans around the country. Joe also received a Congressional Letter from @Rep William Timmons

We salute Joe as he proceeds on his Last Patrol.
