“I wish I could have done more.”

Last Patrol volunteers rallied in North Carolina to honor the military service of George Marshall, a National Guard & Army Reserve Veteran, now in hospice care.

George was born in 1941. He served in the National Guard from 1959-1961, then joined the Army Reserve, and was mobilized during the Berlin Wall crisis. Our team presented several patriotic gifts and letters of recognition, including a letter from @Senator Ted Budd.

George and his wife, Priscilla, have three sons. They are longtime members of @First Baptist Church, Rutherfordton, NC. He worked for @PPG Industries for 40 years and three months. He was a production worker for the first five years and spent the remainder of his career working in research with the company.

Today, George is in hospice care with @Hospice of the Carolina Foothills. We salute him as the proceeds on his Last Patrol.
