I'm proud I served our country.

Last Patrol volunteers in North Carolina honored the service of Arnold Biscontini, an Air Force veteran, in home hospice care.

Arnold was born in Luzerne County, Pennsylvania. He served in the Air Force from 1961 to 1963. He was stationed in England and worked as a Medical X-Ray Technician. Following his military service, he completed college at the University of Maryland and subsequently joined his father’s mining company in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania.

Eventually, Arnold assumed the leadership of the firm. Mine closures led to the business reorganization and the company went into the environmental clean-up business for coal mining operations.

"Arnold is a super patriot," a friend told our team. Arnold is married to his lovely wife, Debbie, and together they have three children. One of Arnold's notable hobbies was owning a horse farm for four years.

Sir, we honor your service to America!
