"Gun ready!," Norton called out, remembering a fire command.
Last Patrol joined AccentCare to honor Norton, an Army WWII veteran in hospice care in Miami, Florida.
Norton, a native of Connecticut, is celebrating his 100th birthday. As he was surrounded by wonderful family, we were privileged to present him a custom shadow box along with other patriotic gifts, including a letter from Senator Rick Scott.
Norton served as an artilleryman Tech Sergeant in the fight against Nazi Germany. After military service, he pursued a career in the automotive industry. He and his wife, Gloria, have been married for 75 years!
